Fluency Voice Announces New Vice President for Americas
BOSTON, Mass. - Fluency Voice Technology, a speech recognition application company, appointed Sam Waicberg to vice president Americas, sales and marketing. Waicberg will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall sales, channels, and marketing strategy for Fluency Americas. He will be based at the company's U.S. headquarters in Boston, Mass. and will be reporting directly to Philip Padfield, the company's chief executive officer.
Waicberg most recently was the vice president of sales for Envox Americas where he was responsible for direct and channel sales of software and professional services.
Previous to this, Waicberg held the position of vice president of worldwide sales for Ascendent Systems where he was responsible for all aspects of revenue generation and customer satisfaction. Waicberg also spent four years at Aspect Communications Corporation where he was first the vice president of sales for the Eastern Region, and then later, the vice president of Indirect Channels for North America.
Before Aspect, Waicberg held positions of increasing sales management responsibility at Blue Martini Software, Crossworlds Software, and Oracle Corporation.
Waicberg has spent his 18-year career in the communications industry contributing to the achievements of growing global organizations that feature strong teams, diligent processes, and revenue targets.
