Fanstel Implements VoIP Phone Reference Design
ATLANTAUnicoi Systems, a provider of realtime multimedia software and reference designs to embedded device developers and OEMs worldwide, announced that Fanstel Corporation has selected Unicoi Systems' IP Phone Reference Design for the development of Fanstel's Voice over IP (VoIP) telephones and speaker phones.
Unicoi Systems' full-featured VoIP Phone Reference Design is built around the Blackfin ADSP-BF536 Processor from Analog Devices, Inc., and Unicoi's voice engine software, a comprehensive VoIP solution designed to produce the best quality sound possible in Internet telephony. The solution integrates features such as Unicoi's family of voice codecs, acoustic (AEC) and line echo cancellation (LEC) software, a dynamic jitter buffer, Voice Activity Detection (VAD), Comfort Noise Generation (CNG), three-way conferencing and SIP based call processing.
