Eric Potter Clarkson Chooses WinScribe Digital Dictation System
LONDON -- European patents and trademarks experts Eric Potter Clarkson LLP will roll out the WinScribe Digital Dictation system from SRC across its company.
The WinScribe system will provide a document workflow system providing fee earners and secretaries with real-time visibility on dictations and transcriptions. "The system provides patent and trademark professionals and secretaries with information that was not available with tapes. They know their dictations have been automatically sent to the correct group of secretaries and can see how their work is progressing," says Philip Morris, deputy general manager at Eric Potter Clarkson. "Secretaries can view the length of dictations as well as priority dictations and so manage their work load far more efficiently."
Within this roll-out, SRC will provide Eric Potter with a range of devices, including the Philips Speech Mike handheld microphones. Once dictations have been completed, the WinScribe Intelligent Workflow Management system will automatically route dictations to the appropriate secretarial resource for typing. The solution also provides real-time management information on the status of work and prioritizes the firm's dictations to ensure target turnaround times are met and that documents are returned to clients as quickly as possible.
