Empirix Receives Two Siebel Systems Validations
Empirix's integrations between its Hammer Service Assurance for Siebel and e-Load products and Siebel business applications version 7.7 have been validated.
Empirix's Hammer Service Assurance for Siebel ensures end-to-end contact center application performance under real-world conditions. Empirix's e-Load is an automated performance testing solution for Web-based applications. Siebel Systems' multi-channel offerings allow organizations to manage and coordinate customer interactions across the Web, contact center, field sales/service force, branch/retail network and indirect and partner distribution channels.
According to Mary Wardley, vice president of CRM and enterprise applications at IDC Research, pre-deployment testing is a critical step for any enterprise application deployment - and particularly for converged Web and voice environments. "Multi-channel CRM environments are by their nature multi-vendor and complex. Proactive testing pays dividends in the long run by ensuring that potential problems are identified and solved early in the process, before agents or customers are ever impacted," said Wardley. "We strongly advise forward-looking companies to implement test regimes that validate both the telephony and CRM layers and particularly the integration points - it's a best practice for increasing the odds of a successful CRM rollout."
The Siebel Validation Program evaluates the integration of third-party solutions with Siebel business applications. Integrations that meet the testing criteria are validated and documented by the Siebel Validation Program.
