ElevenLabs Launches Grants Program

Speech technology provider ElevenLabs has launched a Grants program to unlock the power of text-to-speech artificial intelligence technology for the next generation of innovators and creators.

ElevenLabs Grants has been designed to boost access to the ElevenLabs technology for creative, groundbreaking projects pioneered by early-stage companies. Over the coming months, an initial batch of more than 4,000 grants will be awarded to innovators experimenting with audio AI. Each grant recipient will unlock 11 million text characters per month for three months, for free, to help develop, test, and scale their products or experiences.

Overall, the Grants program will see more than 100 billion text-to-speech and dubbing AI characters shared through the first wave of grants.

"AI voices have enabled a new set of product experiences and commercial growth opportunities that weren't previously possible. As our community expands and companies adopt our technology, we want to lower the barrier to getting started with ElevenLabs. The grants offering has been designed to help thousands of companies or entrepreneurs turn their vision into reality. We can't wait to see what they create," said Carles Reina, vice president of revenue at ElevenLabs, in a statement.

To qualify for grants, startups or companies will need to complete an application and detail how their product or business will incorporate human-like AI voices. Eligible startups must have less than 25 employees.
