Elan's Sayso Gives Voice to France's Business Daily

TOULOUSE, FRANCE - Elan Sayso, the technology developed by TTS supplier Elan Speech, has been chosen by Atos Origin to vocalize the new audio service for Les Echos. Launched on October 10, the new service reads France's business on-line content in real time over the phone. The service enables callers to hear the paper's front page stories in brief or in full and to have detailed information on a given company or sector. It also gives access to stock market information and to quick updates on prime financial news. Atos Origin's multimedia department is Les Echos' partner in the design, development and operation of its on-line services and supports Les Echos TTS and voice recognition technologies.
