Elan Sayso Available on Mac OS X

TOULOUSE, FRANCE - Elan Speech, a developer of Text-to-Speech technology, announced the availability of its Sayso TTS technology on Mac OS X in several languages. With the arrival of Elan Sayso for MAC, Elan Speech extends its speech offering to Latin America and Europe while enhancing the experience for North American users. Customer requirements can now be met in market segments such as edutainment and assistive tools, where dual MAC/PC availability is often required. "Mac is the Multimedia and Educational software platform by excellence. With growing demand strongly expressed by our Edutainment customers for the availability of Elan Sayso on Mac OS X, we have decided to follow suit. Elan Sayso for Mac OS is currently available in US English, French and German. Four more Elan Sayso languages will be released before the end of this year. Many more languages are scheduled for 2004.
