Eicon Networks Announces Support for Nuance Voice Platform 3.0 and Nuance 8.5

Eicon Networks  announced the availability of an Audio Provider software module for Nuance Voice Platform 3.0 and Nuance 8.5. Eicon designs and markets the Diva Server line of products to the communications industry through its distributors and resellers. The hardware architecture and media processing features of the Diva Server telephony adapters allow companies to develop and deploy voice, speech and conferencing applications.

Diva Server telephony adapters provide a set of voice processing functions including tone detection and generation, voice activity detection and echo cancellation. Automatic gain control (AGC) is provided to automatically adjust the signal level of calls within a conference or for recording at normal levels. Onboard DSPs perform these operations in real-time. Up to eight Diva Server adapters - offering two to 240 channels - can be installed and operated concurrently in a single server. Any type of Diva Server adapter whether Analog, ISDN BRI, ISDN PRI, or E1/T1 can be mixed and matched.  All Diva Server adapters conform to Plug and Play standards, eliminating the need to manually configure your server. Diva Server telephony adapters are ready to be used with all state-of-the-art operating systems, offering drivers for both Microsoft Windows and Linux. Diva Server drivers for Windows are officially certified by the Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL).
