Edify Announces 'Voice Studio' Enabling Speech Development

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Edify Corporation released Edify Voice Studio™. This new application development environment provides a toolset for VUI designers, solution architects, and application developers in an integrated environment. As a result, all members of a speech team will be able to collaborate and iterate throughout the development process.

The Edify Voice Studio and the Application Modeler™ (App Modeler™), companies can unite implementation team members early in the design and development stages.

In Voice Studio, the App Modeler toolset not only allows for reuse of application objects, it also supports reuse of small projects, where call treatment is defined in each object for an experience for the caller.

Voice Studio delivers applications through creating a collaborative environment used by designers, developers, project managers, and administrators. Each role has "views" into the application that enable them to execute tasks, as well as see work performed by other members of the team. Finally, Voice Studio supports investment protection with its ability to integrate with any existing source of data, from legacy systems to Web-based environments and by reusing data integrations established for current touchtone applications.
