Ectaco Launches Line of iTRAVL Traveler's Aids with English-Russian Hand-held

Ectaco released a new English-Russian iTRAVL NTL-2R device, the first in a line of more than 120 different products based on a new handheld platform.

iTRAVL puts linguistic capability in users hands accessed via a interface that enables the user to navigate and learn a foreign language.

Based on proprietary speech recognition, speech analysis and voice output technology, a built-in Language Teacher system provides a short learning curve in language learning before the user can actually speak and understand the foreign language.
