Digium Releases Speech Starter Kit With LumenVox Speech Engine

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Digium Inc., the Asterisk company, launched a Speech Starter Kit included in the Asterisk Business Edition at no additional charge. 

This is the first time that Digium has offered an integrated commercial speech recognition technology for Asterisk. To ensure integration, Digium created a connector bridge to the LumenVox Speech Engine. The Speech Starter Kit includes the connector bridge and one LumenVox Speech Engine port, and can be deployed directly on any supported Asterisk server.
