Dial2Do Does More for the Cell Phone

Dial2Do, an Irish company specializing in hands-free technologies, announced today a partnership with JAJAH, a global communication company, to voice-enable cell phones to initiate single-party or conference calls and more.

Using Dial2Do, users simply call a local phone number, say the word "jajah," and then select one of three JAJAH services—call, text or conference. For calls and conferences, JAJAH initiates the call to anyone in a Dial2Do address book and rings the caller back immediately to connect the call. The service is accessible on any phone and does not require new hardware or software to download.

Dial2Do also lets users send email and text messages, record reminders to help them remember things, post updates to their blogs or social networking sites through Twitter or Jaiku, and even update calendar and contact information, alll with their voices.

The Dial2Do service with Jajah is currently in private beta, but is available in 19 countries: the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, and Sweden. It currently only supports the English language, however.
