Speech technology provider Deepgram yesterday introduced three new languages (French, French Canadian, and German) and three new use case speech models (earnings calls, voicemail, and video). The company also improved its Hindi and Spanish language models and its Conversational AI and Meetings models.
All of these models have been trained on real conversations, enabling them to better transcribe jargon, accents, dialects, code-switching (switching from Hindi to English words), terminology, and alphanumerics, according to the company.
