Datria's Voice Self-Service Applications for Field Service Certified on Microsoft Speech Server
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Datria has certified its applications on Microsoft Speech Server.
Datria's applications function as a "virtual dispatcher." When a technician calls, the virtual dispatcher uses a synthesized voice to ask questions based on the current work context. The technician answers the questions in natural language. The Datria application converts the voice to data and updates the company's enterprise software. Datria then "reads" the data in the enterprise system, converts it to voice, and speaks it to the technician. The system provides a method to exchange information with mobile employees.
By incorporating Speech Server, Datria expects to deliver solutions to a broader array of companies, including those with fewer than 50 technicians on staff. Speech Server based solutions from Datria will also be available to large enterprises.
