Clarity Technologies Selected by StarCore

TROY, MI - Clarity Technologies Inc. announced its CVC® (Clear Voice Capture) technology supports the StarCore™ SC1000-family of digital signal processor (DSP) cores and platforms. Clarity's CVC software is designed to provide noise free listening when the SC1000-family is used in communications and consumer products like wireless handsets and PDAs. Clarity's CVC noise and echo suppression software has been integrated with StarCore SP120X and SP140X DSP subsystem products. "Clarity's ability to improve the quality and performance of voice-based applications makes StarCore DSP platforms an even more attractive option for customers designing handsets and consumer products." said Philippe Bettler, manager of strategic alliances for StarCore LLC. StarCore's SC1000-family is licensable intellectual property (IP) that provides system-on-chip (SoC) designers with DSP performance and related subsystem capabilities.
