Cistera Releases Version 1.7 for Land Mobile Radio Interoperability
LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Cistera Networks released Version 1.7 of LMRConnect, Cistera's Land Mobile Radio (LMR) to IP Telephony integration engine.
Among the enhancements found in the new version of Cistera's platform is the upgrade of capabilities for the two-way radio interoperability solution, known as LMRConnect. Cistera LMRConnect now includes the ability to integrate cellular and analog phones into radio talk groups, support for Cistera's Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine and improved recording and archiving capabilities.
LMRConnect is a key component of Cistera's Event Alerting and Notification solution, integrating Land Mobile Radio systems with an IP Communications infrastructure -- enabling conferencing, collaboration, bridging and recording across a range of disparate radio systems.
The Cistera ConvergenceServer (CCS) adds critical competency and features such as text and audio broadcasting, messaging, recording, and content streaming within a Cisco Communications environment. Cistera has platforms that support 100 to 100,000 users.
