Changes Made in the Elix Executive Team
MONTREAL, QUEBEC - Elix, a provider of self-service and agent-assisted touchpoint solutions for contact centers, announces François Rainville's nomination as Chairman of the Board of Directors. As his first significant act in this role, Mr. Rainville announced the nomination of François Rodrigue as president of the company. François Rainville stressed his great confidence in seeing Mr. Rodrigue take operational control of the enterprise that he founded 15 years ago. Mr. Rainville founded PRIMA in 1988, which, after the merger with Mediasoft Telecom in 2000, became the new entity Elix. "François Rodrigue is a high-calibre manager with the right profile to pursue the set objectives and maintain stability and continuity," said François Rainville, who takes over the position of Chairman of the Board, replacing Andre Thompson, who assumed this role for 5 years. As Vice-President Finance, Commercial Simulation and Training at CAE Inc., Mr. Rodrigue demonstrated convincing know-how, solid determination, and efficient initiatives where the bottom line and a customer-centric approach prevailed. "The field in which Elix operates is stimulating and full of challenges. With François, the Board of Directors and the whole executive team, I intend to continue building and promoting Elix's expertise in the competitive and ever-changing field of computer telephony while making the most of the company's resources, both human and material, in order to lead Elix to a brilliant future centered on customers satisfaction," said François Rodrigue, president of Elix. M. Rodrigue took office on December 5th 2002.
