Cbeyond Announces Cisco Unified Communications Interoperability

Internet-based managed services provider Cbeyond announced earlier this week that its BeyondVoice with SIPconnect service is interoperable with Cisco Unified Communications 500 Series (UC500), a unified communications solution designed for small businesses.

Cisco Unified Communications 500 Series is a key component of Cisco's Smart Business Communications System (SBCS). The UC500 Series with the SBCS is an on-premises solution that supports the integrated delivery of voice, data, video, security, and mobility services. The UC500 provides voicemail and automated attendant and integrates with existing desktop applications such as calendar, e-mail, and customer relationship management (CRM).

Cbeyond's BeyondVoice with SIPconnect service is an integrated package of local and long-distance voice, mobile, and broadband Internet services provided with a SIP trunking service.
