Canadian Service Provider Selects Vicorp VoiceXML Platform

NEW YORK - Bell Canada announced that it will be deploying the Vicorp xMP Application Development Platform within its Next Generation IP network.

The Vicorp VoiceXML platform in conjunction with the VoiceGenie media server will enable Bell Canada to add speech interface options to its portfolio of calling card services for Enterprise and Residential customers.

Vicorp's xMP solution tool suite enables the creation, management and delivery of services with bi-lingual speech interfaces, messaging, content delivery and user personalisation.

Bell Canada provides local telephone, long distance, wireless communications, Internet access, data, satellite television and other services to residential and business customers through some 26 million customer connections.
