CEC Systems Releases PanaVox to Broadcast Internet Text-to-Speech to Narrowband from a Web Site

PanaVox released a service to broadcast Internet text-to-speech to narrowband from an existing Web site. PanaVox is a technology in Web site accessibility and social inclusion for those who have until now been wholly or partially excluded from the Web revolution. PanaVox broadcasts text as live speech from any Web site to 33 or 56 k modems. Broadband is not required. It works with Mac OS, Linux and Windows. It gives Web site accessibility for those with impaired vision, reading difficulties or who use English as a second language. CEC Systems applied for a patent for this technology in March.
