Brooktrout, Esnatech and Iwatsu Partner to Provide Speech-Enabled Unified Messaging Solution
NEW YORK - Brooktrout Technology, Esnatech, and Iwatsu released a speech-enabled unified messaging solution for small to medium businesses. The solution, which utilizes Iwatsu's Enterprise-CS IP-PBX, Esna's Telephony Office-LinX and Brooktrout's speech platform, combines "find me - follow me" functionality with speech-enabled unified messaging to allow mobile workers to access their voice, email and fax messages from multiple devices including desk phones, cell phones, PDAs, and Web browsers. This system is currently being used by companies such as Atlantic Southeast Airlines ASA and ACS Benefits Blue Cross Blue Shield Provider of South Carolina.
Esnatech's Telephony Office-LinX Small Business Edition (SBE) is a unified communication solution designed for businesses with between five and 50 employees. Messages can be accessed from virtually any communication device, including office telephones, cell phones, PDAs, PCs, or any Web browser - regardless of the incoming message type (i.e. voice, fax, e-mail).
Iwatsu's Enterprise-CS combines TDM and IP technology.
Brooktrout's speech platform will connect ESNAtech's Office-LinX to the Iwatsu PBX and process all voice and touchtone responses for use by the application.
