Birch Enhances Hosted IP PBX Offering with Advanced Call Monitoring and Recording
Birch Communications, a provider of communications, network, and cloud services, has added call monitoring and recording to its TotalCloud PBX feature portfolio. These new features allow business customers to monitor, record, and store both inbound and outbound calls over hosted IP PBX networks.
Birch is growing its portfolio to align with the needs of businesses focused on regulatory compliance, quality control, and productivity. With these additions, TotalCloud PBX administrators now have a Web-based dashboard where they can control recording, monitor calls, review call detail records, access call recordings, and even notate recordings for better efficiencies. Birch has worked with CTI Group, a provider of carrier-grade software solutions, to deliver these solutions.
"TotalCloud PBX call monitoring and recording features provide easy and secure access to call recordings via encrypted media file streaming," said David Gibson, vice president of business development at Birch, in a statement. "From quality assurance to regulatory compliance, the key benefit to our customers is operational efficiency by collecting information quickly, seamlessly, and securely. Customers can expect that we will continue to light key features to improve their business. Providing what our customers need is just another way for Birch to demonstrate our fanatical customer service."
"We are delighted that Birch is offering our call recording solution to their customer base. Users are demanding maximum functionality when they make the transition to a hosted voice solution, and Birch is now able to offer an even more exhaustive list of features and functionality to their TotalCloud PBX customers, making them a true market leader in the hosted arena," said Randy Sorensen, vice president of sales at CTI Group, in a statement.
