AudioSoft Expands into North America Through Appointment of VP Sales and Marketing

SAN DIEGO - AudioSoft expanded into the US market through the appointment of Nick Porter to its international sales team as vice president of sales and marketing (USA).

Originally from England, Porter is now based in San Diego, California and will be responsible for the development of AudioSoft's sales throughout the whole of North America. Nick has over 10 years of technical sales management experience in the ATC and defense industries and has lived in California for the last four years.

AudioSoft is a developer of digital recording, playback, and analysis systems for voice and data. Launched in 1995, version 1.0 of its recording product AudioPC was the first digital voice recording solution in the world to be based on PCs. AudioSoft's systems are now in use globally in many applications including data recorders for military aircraft, voice and radar recorders for air traffic control, police interview recorders, courtroom recorders, and call center recorders. AudioSoft's integrated approach allows many channels of data to be recorded and regenerated upon playback while their audio analytic solutions use speech recognition algorithms to allow identification of important data.
