Aspect Enterprise Contact Server Selected by Sabre
SAN JOSE, CA - Aspect Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: ASPT) announced that the Aspect Enterprise Contact Server has been selected by Sabre, the travel technology, distribution and marketing services provider. Sabre will use Aspect's solution to support customers over multiple communication channels. The solution will enable Sabre to fully leverage the skills of customer service representatives (CSRs) by matching customer communications to them regardless of channel. Sabre also plans to implement Aspect Web Interaction software, which enables CSRs to conduct multiple, simultaneous chat sessions with customers. Additionally, the software allows for callback request, shared browsing, page markup and joint form completion. Sabre contact centers handle more than 1.3 million customer interactions annually with travel agencies. These centers offer support and service for Sabre's global distribution system and back-office accounting product suite. "Aspect enables a transition to a comprehensive, business communications system that is flexible enough to change as the business changes, without running up costs," said Rod Butters, Aspect's president of worldwide market development, sales and services.
