Arduino has partnered with Cyberon to launch a dedicated speech recognition engine for the Arduino Nano and Portenta boards.
The partnership with Cyberon involves the Arduino Pro Speech Recognition Engine, which is compatible with the Arduino Nano 33 BLE, Arduino Nano RP2040 Connect, and the Arduino Portenta H7 with Portenta Vision Shield or suitable external microphone.
Arduino claims its engine requires zero training time because it uses text input to define voice commands. It also comes with support for more than 40 languages, automatic filtration of background noise, and support for multiple wake-words and word sequences.
