Amiura Selects Brooktrout's Voice and Fax Products for Lotus Domino Applications

ORLANDO - Brooktrout Technology, Inc. announced that Amiura, a member of IBM PartnerWorld focused on IBM Lotus Notes and Domino* products, now supports Brooktrout's TR1034™ and TruFax® series of intelligent fax boards in its Amiura Fax Server (AFS), and Brooktrout's TR1000™ voice platform in its Amiura Voice Gateway.

The combination of Brooktrout's TR1034 or TruFax series of fax boards and the AFS allows Lotus Domino customers to receive faxes as email messages, send faxes from a Lotus Domino mail account, design cover pages with IBM Lotus Domino Designer and automate the sending of faxes.

Brooktrout's TR1034 series offers enterprise customers a line of V.34 (33.6 Kbps) fax boards with fax over IP capabilities for a variety of computer-based fax applications, such as network fax, fax broadcast, unified messaging, and business process automation. The TR1034 series delivers the ultimate in flexibility, offering support for both IP and PSTN network connectivity. Brooktrout's TruFax Series is a line of fax boards that offer small to medium-sized businesses and departmental workgroups fax capabilities for a variety of computer-based fax applications, such as network fax and fax broadcast.

The AVG allows companies to integrate their voicemail boxes into the Lotus Domino electronic mail boxes, allowing integration with legacy voicemail in the enterprise.
