Al Jazeera Net Provides Portal Service Via Phone in the United Arab Emirates
DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - Al Jazeera has announced the launch of the voice portal service in the United Arab Emirates through Etisalat and in cooperation with Emerging Technologies a specialized speech recognition solutions provider. Al Jazeera Net which belongs to Al Jazeera Channel has added that this service would provide a rich selection of news spanning from different news types to regional selections; enriching the information gathering craze and enabling access to news coverage from any where at any time. The service is provided through Etisalat & hosted by the Contact Center; its activated by simply sending an SMS empty message to number 2888 and receiving an SMS confirmation then the service will activate immediately by dialing 600560001. Al Jazeera voice portal provides updated news 24 hours a day via phone, eliminating hours of newspaper, magazine and periodical flapping & allowing the subscriber's phone to become the selection tool of relevant and business updates.
