Aculab Upgrades Its HMP Software, Prosody S

MILTON KEYNES, U.K. - Aculab extended the feature set of its host media processing technology Prosody S in a new software release.  Prosody S v2.2 includes: support for T.38 fax; enhanced SIP security (Secure RTP, TLS, SIPS), symmetric RTP); call progress tone detection; higher channel counts - a market leading 600 channels of full-duplex G.711 and 4 new audio codecs, (G.728, GSM-FR, EVRC, AMR-NB).

The set of media processing resources, channel counts, and codecs now supported by Prosody S, will mean an increasingly diverse range of applications can be based upon it. Furthermore it means solution providers can deploy their application on any CPU - be it in a PC, 1U server, embedded system, or laptop.

Solution providers can deploy the number of channels required and add more when needed.
