Aculab Updates VoiSentry
Aculab, a provider of speech and signal processing technologies, has updated its VoiSentry voice biometrics system with enhancements in verification/identification algorithms, improved encryption for digital voiceprints, and an extension to its presentation attack detection function.
The latest improvements to VoiSentry's verification algorithms have seen the platform's equal error rate cut in half. In addition, the update to VoiSentry's presentation attack detection can categorize suspected presentation attacks according to the technology employed.
"Aculab continues its fight against cyberfraud by integrating new technology that halves the number of verification errors. This makes our customers' systems more secure, and the processing of genuine callers frictionless. The new release of VoiSentry also boasts improved presentation attack detection to mitigate against spoofing attempts, and optional audio encryption for even greater privacy," said Steve Beet, principal research and development engineer at Aculab, in a statement.
