Aculab Integrates Prosody Media Processing Product Line with Envox 6 Communications Development Platform
MILTON KEYNES, UK - Aculab, has integrated its range of media processing resources with the Envox 6 Communications Development Platform. The Envox 6 platform is an open, standards-based development platform.
Aculab's integration with Envox 6 allows voice solution developers to combine best-in-class telephony hardware with a rapid application development environment that can reduce development time by 50% or more.
Prosody brings basic speech processing functions such as play and record, it offers a set of higher level technologies including automatic speech recognition, text-to-speech and speaker verification and identification, all in a single card solution.
The wide range of E1 and T1 protocols and approvals available from Aculab enable the rapid development of Envox-based voice solutions for global deployment.
Envox 6 users will also gain access to Aculab's support services, which are available to help developers through each stage of their product's life cycle.
These services include technical consultancy and support, training and marketing programs.
Aculab utilised the Envox Telephony Driver API to develop this integration package and provides Envox 6 developers with complete access to Aculab's telephony software, which contains device driver control for Prosody products.
Aculab today announces the general availability of this software package, which can be downloaded from
