AT&T Extends and Expands Wizzard Agreement for World Wide TTS Distribution Rights
PITTSBURGH , Penn. - Wizzard Software (OTCBB: WIZD) announced today they have expanded their relationship with ATandT with the addition of distribution rights for the telephony server version of ATandT's Natural Voices text-to-speech engine. In addition to adding the telephony server product line, the agreement between Wizzard and ATandT has been extended beyond the original three years.
The ATandT Natural Voices Telephony Server edition is targeted to include corporate IT servers and Internet Service Providers. These products have simultaneously support of different languages for dialogue or multi-language telephone applications. "The use of high quality TTS continues to grow, although the potential has been significantly under optimized," according to Voice Information Associates industry analyst Walt Tetschner. "With the aggressive and innovative orientation that Wizzard Software brings to the table, the likelihood of high quality TTS truly reaching its potential is enhanced significantly."
