ART and UIQ Technology Announce Cooperation On Speech Recognition

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL - UIQ Technology will use ART's advanced recognition technologies for closer integration of 3rd party speech recognition solutions on UIQ user interface. ART Advanced Recognition Technologies Inc. announced the cooperation with UIQ Technology, developer of pen-based user interface platforms for Symbian OS based mobile phones. The cooperation, where ART is contributing with their expertise on advanced recognition technologies, will result in a closer integration of 3rd party speech recognition solutions on UIQ. In addition, ART announced that it will be hosting UIQ Technology in its Booth #D40, Hall 2 at Canne's 3GSM World Congress, February 18-21. There, the two companies will be demonstrating the first example of their joint cooperation, which will be ART's recognition technologies, integrated into UIQ in use on the new -Sony Ericsson P800 mobile handset.
