AIT Develops Biometrics System

Web hosting provider Advanced Internet Technologies (ait.com) developed a biometrics access control system using an automated method of recognizing a person based on a physiological or behavioral characteristic.

These characteristics include fingerprints, retinal and iris scanning, hand and fingerprint geometry, voice patterns, facial recognition, and other techniques.

AIT's Fingerprint Time and Attendance system includes a range of features, such as manage access for a large number of people, remote control of terminals, a combination of several authentication types, monitoring of access status, and additional features including user access lookup and inter-phone and control multiple access terminals via the network.
