A New Jersey Healthcare Network Chooses Siemens
BOCA RATON, Fla. -- AtlantiCare, a healthcare provider in southeastern New Jersey, will implement the HiPath unified communications platform from Siemens Communications to upgrade its communications infrastructure for more than 4,460 employees across 60 locations.
"Having an IT-based unified communications environment aligns our clinical workflows for greater operational efficiency, which contributes to providing quality care and services, safely and efficiently," said Daniel Morreale, chief information officer at AtlantiCare.
AtlantiCare had already replaced a portion of its existing infrastructure with the first of two HiPath 4000 Real-Time IP Systems. It will use HiPath Manager for enterprise-wide systems management. These technologies will provide AtlantiCare with the resiliency needed to support its critical operations while increasing operational efficiencies and decreasing TCO through centralizing management of its voice network. A HiPath ProCenter Enterprise solution serves a 50-agent contact center, improving the efficiency of revenue cycle management operations.
Siemens’s IP architecture will leverage the fiber optic networking services that AtlantiCare plans to implement, reducing costly carrier services currently used between locations throughout its legacy infrastructure.
