SpeechTrans Partners with Intel

SpeechTrans is collaborating with Intel as a new participant in the Intel Software Partner Program for independent software vendors.

SpeechTrans Pro Communicator for Android was recently tested and verified to run effectively on mobile devices based on the Intel architecture. As an Intel software partner, SpeechTrans received the necessary substantial technical and marketing support to help optimize the application for the platform.

Powered by speech technologies Nuance Communications, the SpeechTrans Pro Communicator app is designed to help people speak and understand different languages within seconds via voice recognition, photo translation, text-to-speech, and text translation. Users can then email their translated text, post it on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, or send it via text message. The Pro Communicator app also allows users to video chat with speech translation and translate over landlines.

"Our goal is to continue helping as many people as possible with our Pro Communicator app. Speech translation is a global need, so we are very grateful that a truly global company like Intel has taken notice of our solution to this universal problem," said Yan Auerbach, chief operations officer at SpeechTrans, in a statement.
