AVST Offers CX-E in the Cloud
Applied Voice & Speech Technologies (AVST) last week launched its popular CX-E enterprise-class unified communications (UC) solution from the cloud. This new licensing and delivery option enables customers to deploy CX-E on premises, in the cloud, or as a hybrid of the two.
"We're bringing the freedom of choice to our customers to consume and deploy AVST's world-class UC technology in the form factor of their choice, including on-premises, hybrid, or cloud, and have the flexibility to change their mind in the future," said AVST President and CEO Hardy Myers in a statement. "We have set the bar for UC interoperability in the enterprise, and now we are raising it by making all of the features of our premises-based solution accessible from the cloud. This new cloud delivery model for CX-E meets the needs of enterprises seeking to achieve greater elasticity in their UC solution deployment model and shifts the consumption model from a CAPEX to an OPEX paradigm."
CX-E's new subscription-based cloud delivery model offers the following:
- Resilient and scalable architecture;
- Unified and voice messaging;
- Secure UC mobile client for iPhone and Android;
- Speech-enabled personal assistant;
- Automated attendant;
- Call center;
- Notification; and
- Communications-enabled business process solutions, including interactive voice response.
CX-E in the Cloud will be available in the second quarter of this year.
