Integrated Document Solutions (IDS) has released a version of its Mobile Voice2Dox, its integrated mobile dictation application, for use with the iPhone. The app is now available in the iTunes App Store.

Mobile Voice2Dox allows healthcare providers to dictate case notes in real-time based on scheduled patient visits and follow-ups through an interface with their scheduling systems. In addition, the app allows doctors to add unscheduled patients instantly, dictate their findings for later transcription, and record insurance information for administrative and billing processing. The app is synchronized with AbbaDox, IDS’ cloud-based healthcare ecosystem for automating transcription and other documentation workflows and storing clinical documentation in online patient charts.

“With Mobile Voice2Dox, physicians can work from the hospital, the road, or from home just as efficiently and securely as if they were in their offices,” said Yaniv Dagan, CEO of IDS. “This app is a must for physicians who split their days between doing rounds and seeing patients at their clinics. It’s a logical progression of our efforts to reach across platforms, provide our users more options and greater mobility, and to simplify their lives, while at the same time meeting ever-increasing compliance challenges.”

The application includes a library of previously recorded dictations available through a fully integrated patient search engine. In addition, healthcare providers can securely transfer all voice files in a HIPAA compliant format without physically connecting the iPhone to any other device.

Mobile Voice2Dox is part of the IDS suite of mobile applications, delivering powerful healthcare solutions to iPhone, iPad, Android, and BlackBerry devices.
