Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search Now Available in Denmark and Poland
Nuance Communications' Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search apps for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad have made their debut in Denmark, supporting the Danish language. The launch in Denmark follows on the heels of the successful launch of Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search in Poland, supporting Polish, where the apps hit the #1 and #3 spots in overall free apps respectively in the App Store.
Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search have experienced rapid adoption and expansion across Europe as they enable people all over the world to quickly and easily speak text for SMS messages, emails, social media updates, mobile Web searches and more, up to five times faster than typing.
Driven by global demand and downloads in the tens of millions, the launch of Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search in Denmark and Poland marks 24 countries where the apps are available, and 21 languages supported across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Both Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search feature multilingual capabilities so people all over the world can switch between supported languages as they come available.
Dragon Dictation is iOS-4 compatible and features a pop-up toolbar with app icons that enables users to access email, SMS, Facebook or Twitter status bars, or the clipboard. Dragon Dictation also includes an Auto Save function that retains dictated text when the user is interrupted by an incoming phone call.
Dragon Search for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch allows users to speak any search query to find information and answers on the mobile Web. Dragon Search features Nuance's Dragon Search Carousel, which delivers search results within seconds across multiple channels all at once. Dragon Search includes results from Google, Yahoo!, Twitter, iTunes, Wikipedia, and YouTube.
