Babel Technologies and Elan Speech Merge

BELGIUM, FRANCE - Babel Technologies and Elan Speech announced the merger of their companies and all of their activities. Customers will have immediate access to an exceptional product range covering 23 languages, all market segments and offering of services and support. "This merger will present the market with a new and strong global player, based in Europe, whose strengths are a very wide product and language portfolio able to meet the various market demands," said Vincent Fontaine, CEO of Babel Technologies. The new group, whose name will be revealed shortly, will be managed by a team of three, all from the world of speech technologies, - Fontaine, Kauffeisen, and Lars-Erik Larsson, CEO of Babel-Infovox.
